Farmer’s Markets in Northern Indiana

There’s nothing quite like home grown produce, made my the local farmer, fresh off the field. Farmer’s markets are becoming more and more popular as people prefer to get locally grown produce.

Here’s a breakdown of the Farmer’s Markets in Northern Indiana that I know about. If you know of a market not on the list, please feel free to lets us know about it in the comments.

Valparaiso Farmer’s Market

Where: Downtown Valparaiso, Park Plaza

When: Tuesday 9-5, Saturday 9-3 (June through October)

Michigan City Main Street Farmer’s Market

Where: Downtown Michigan City – 8th and Washington Streets

When: Saturdays 8am – Noon (May through October)

Chesterton European Market

Where: Downtown Chesterton, Indiana

When: Every Saturday May Through October – 8am-2pm

Farmer’s Market at the Schoolhouse Shop

Where: Schoolhouse Shop in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore

When: Every Friday and Saturday 10am – 4pm

American Countryside Farmer’s Market

Where: Elkhart, Indiana

When: Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 9-7, Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-5
