One of my favorite things about the summertime is the leisurely pace of life. With no homework to oversee, I find myself with more time to read books for my own pleasure.
Last week, on the last day of school, I took the kids to Half Price Books to let them each pick a book to read for fun. The best find I made, however, was not a particularly book, but a little yellow slip of paper advertising the Half Price Books Clearance Sale, to be held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on June 26 and 27 from 9am to 6pm in the Agriculture Building. Everything will be sold for $3 or less.
That got me thinking about those library tent sales that generally happen in the summer months. Thanks to the magic of Google, I found a great site that lists book sales.
There are several library book sales happening around Indiana in June, including:
June 5: Willard Library, Evansville, IN
June 5-12: Westfield Washington Public Library, Westfield, IN
June 10-12: Huntington City-Township Public Library, Huntington, IN
June 11-12: North Manchester Public Library, North Manchester, IN
June 11-14: Tippecanoe County Public Library, Lafayette, IN
June 19-20: North Judson-Wayne Township Library, North Judson, IN
June 25-26: Greenwood Public Library, Greenwood, IN
