Coming Soon: Renaissance Faire in Huntington Indiana

I had the pleasure of attending the Indiana Tourism Media Marketplace and learned about an event I want to get word out right away about – there’s a Renaissance Faire coming to Indiana this Memorial Day weekend.

From May 27th to May 31, 210 – the Huntington Indiana Jaycees Club will be hosting it’s first annual Renaissance Faire in beautiful Huntington Indiana.

The medieval themed weekend will include:

  • Jugglers
  • Magicians
  • Dancers
  • Fortune Tellers
  • Hypnotists
  • Ventriloquists
  • Rope Walkers
  • Sword Swallowers
  • Fire Eaters
  • Acrobats
  • Comedians
  • Tarot Reader
  • Story Telling
  • And much more!

Many people will be dressing up in period costume for the occasion and you’re likely to see fools, wenches, pirates, gypsies, fair maidens, upper classmen, ladies and Royalty. They’re planning in bringing in medieval enthusiasts to a model English village set in the 1500′s for a fun and enjoyable weekend.

The Huntington Renaissance Faire will be held from May 27th to May 31, 2010 at the PAL Club, 2099 Riverside Drive in Huntington Indiana.
