Butler Rally on Monument Circle

We headed down to Monument Circle around noon today to check out the 2nd Butler rally in the last 5 days. Last Thursday, the city hosted a rally to cheer Butler on as they faced Michigan State in the Final Four semifinal round on Saturday night. After a close and hard-fought win, Butler plays Duke tonight for the NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship tonight at 9:21 EDT (CBS).

Today’s rally featured Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard, Butler President Dr. Bobby Fong (who cancelled classes for all Butler students tomorrow!) and Butler Athletic Director Barry Collier. The Butler pep band and cheerleaders were there and helped pump up the crowd of thousands at the center of Indianapolis. We were there and took some video of the rally. Let us know if you were there too!

Remember to tune into the game tonight at 9:21 EDT on CBS and GO BULLDOGS!
