West Baden Springs Hotel Dome

If you aren’t traveling to Indiana this weekend, you can flip on the TV and catch one of Indiana’s most historical buildings on the Science Channel on Saturday night (3/13).

West Baden Springs Hotel will be featured on the Science Channel’s Big, Bigger, Biggest episode “Superdomes”, which features Japan’s Oita Stadium, the largest freestanding dome in the world. The episode will also feature many of the other influential domes that preceded Oita Stadium.

West Baden Springs’ dome was the largest in the world when it was built in the early 1900s, and the technology used to build it has influenced other great domes like New Orleans’ Superdome, the Astrodome in Texas and Atlanta’s Georgia Dome.

So flip on the Science Channel this Saturday (3/13) at 10pm EST to catch one of Indiana’s great historical jewels.

Below is a great video (about 8 minutes) about West Baden Springs Hotel by Smithville:

This seems to be a very nice hotel and the photos demonstrates that in a complete manner. Hope all the rooms are equal as design with the main lobby picture.

Science is a core set of toy or collecting toys for children, but scientific! What do we mean by that? Well, in contrast to the doll or toy car, for example, the science of the scientific project or project group, consisting of practical experiments, which often lead to toy science fun. Science kits, such as those sold on Science Store for the stars, presented in easy to understand and interesting way and are designed to teach children the facts about the different scientific disciplines.

The World is changing rapidly at the hands of man and man is only just waking up to the potential dangers whether they are natural or man made. Increasingly in the future opportunities will exist in many areas of government and business, as well as pressure groups, for graduates in environmental studies. For those interested in the environment an environmental science degree must be seriously considered when looking at university or college.
