Day One

Be a kid again at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, where you can tickle your toes in the treetops at the African Safari, journey into the Indonesian Rainforest, hike through the Orangutan Valley and Tiger Forest, and stroll the Australian Adventure among the kangaroos. It’s no wonder that the Children’s Zoo is one of the top five in the nation – it’s an experience that you won’t want to miss!

And that evening, make sure to grab your mitt and catch a TinCaps baseball game in our brand new downtown stadium! More than just baseball, the TinCaps offer serious family fun in one of the best minor league ballparks in the country.

Day Two

After a great night in an affordable, family-friendly hotel (dozens of great hotels for every budget – many with refreshing pools or complimentary breakfast!) you’ll want to see more sights. A few of our favorite family attractions include:

Science Central – Indiana’s interactive science center where you can ride a high-rail bike, create a tornado and get hands-on with science, technology and nature!

Botanical Conservatory – Surround yourself with nature at an oasis in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne. Enjoy lush seasonal displays, four outdoor gardens, the Tropical Garden with orchids, palms, and a cascading waterfall and the Sonoran Desert Garden.

Combine these attractions with delicious restaurants, great shopping and world-class entertainment and you’ll see why families love to do MORE for LESS in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

To find great special events and other can’t-miss activities anytime you’re in town (or to request a Visitors Guide), visit us online at VisitFortWayne.com or call us at 1-800-767-7752.
