Men in skirts. See some very manly men compete in the Midwest Highland Games Championship, a sanctioned competition. Take in all things Scottish, including highland dancers, clan tents, sheep dogs, European cars, bagpipers, reenactors, children’s activities, Scottish country dancing, merchandise and food. How the chrome sparkles! Check out the classic cars, trucks, hot rods and motorcycles on display beginning at 3 p.m.  Downtown starts to rock at 7 p.m. with the classic croonings of Rick and the Allnighters. Don’t miss the Sock Hop in the Green River Banquet Hall above Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor and Museum, also starting at 7 p.m. Downtown Columbus, along Washington Street.
