There’s an exciting event for all ages this weekend up in Gary, Indiana. The annual Gary Air Show is this weekend and the lineup looks to be as exciting as previous years.
The show is usually pretty incredible as various advanced jets and historic planes do flying routines over beautiful Lake Michigan. Planes on display over Lake Michigan this year will include:
- Harrier Jumpjet
- L-39
- F-18 Super Hornet
- F-16 Fighting Falcon
- U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight
- Lima Lima Formation
- Bell Stein
- Vanguard Squadron
- and much more!
The air show is free for all to attend and parking is free as well. There’s an excellent selection of food and other merchants. So, throw on a swimsuit and head out to Miller, Indiana for some awesome flying excitement. If you’re within 3 to 4 hours of Gary, it’s well worth the day trip.
Performances are Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th from Noon-4:00pm.
