More than 100 feature-length films and 75 short films will be screened at the 2009 Indianapolis International Film Festival (IIFF). The screenings will take place from July 15-25 at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The festival will highlight independent films made in over 20 countries. The Manhattan Short Film Festival - September 24-26 – Bloomington
Bloomington is the Indiana home to the Manhattan Short Film Festival, which is a coordinated event across five continents.
Heartland Film Festival – October 15-24 – Indianapolis
Well regarded across the country, the Heartland Film Festival screens student and professional films from around the world and recognizes filmmakers whose work explores expresses hope and respect for the positive values in life.
Harvest Moon Film Festival – November 12-14 – Muncie
Harvest Moon showcases films that celebrate the American Midwest.
Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival – November 13-15 – Indianapolis
Highlights feature-length, short and documentary films that deal with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues.
