Why do I need an account?

You'll need an account in order to purchase or participate in advertising provided by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development (IOTD). Eventually, you'll be able to track and edit your submissions and look at web stats associated with each submission you place.

Do I have to have an account?

We want to offer each of our partners an easy, one-stop shop for online and publication advertising placement with IOTD. By using the Advertiser Portal, your organization will be able to review any ad or submission you have placed, make ad changes before the ad goes to press and eventually track the success of any online submissions placed with IOTD.

Why can we only have one account per organization?

In an attempt to keep all of your advertising information in one place, we're asking that you create ONE account for your organization. This will provide you with a "one-stop shop" where you can review all ads placed through this account. This will also enable your organization to avoid confusion and see more defined and clear results from its efforts and investments in IOTD advertising opportunities. Your organization will even be able to effectively compare and optimize its results over time.

What do I do if my organization loses its password or login?

If you lose or forget your password, you can click on "forgot password". Follow the steps listed and your password will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your organization's account. If the e-mail that the password is sent to is no longer active, contact your Regional Account Executive (RAE). If you have forgotten your organization’s login, click on help/contact for assistance.

What do I do if my organization needs to change our password or login?

If you need to change your organization's login or password, please click on "help/contact" and follow the steps to reset your password or change your login.

Will my account be valid from year to year?

Yes, once you create an organization account, you will be able to use it year after year. You will be able to review any submission you have placed through the Advertiser Portal.

How long will it take for any new online listings I purchase to show up on VisitIndiana.com?

It will take approximately two weeks for any new online listing to go live on VisitIndiana.com. Once you submit your listing, IOTD will approve the listing and make it live.

How will I know when my order is complete?

Once you place your organization's order in the Ad Portal, an e-mail will be sent to your Regional Account Executive (RAE), notifying them that you have signed up for advertising. You must then print out your Insertion Order, sign it and fax it to your RAE. They will then confirm that your order has been processed.

Can I pay my invoice online?

Not yet. For now, simply mail or fax your completed and signed insertion order to your RAE.

Where do I send my Insertion Order?

Once you have decided which advertising opportunities you would like, fax a signed copy of your Insertion Order to your RAE. Above is each region's RAE contact information:

Why do I have to print, sign and fax my insertion order to my RAE?

Printing, signing and faxing your Insertion Order to your RAE gives you the opportunity to review any advertising opportunities you've selected and provides a paper trail in the event that there are any questions about which advertising opportunities you selected.

Who should I contact with questions about advertising opportunities?

You should contact your RAE. RAE's contact information is listed above

What region am I in?

If you are unsure about which tourism region your organization is located in, we have provided documents that list Regions by County, or Regions by City.
