Fair Train

The Fair Train presented by the Indiana Transportation Museum departs from 116th and Municipal Drive in Fishers for a round trip journey to the Fair. Parking may be reached by following the signs on 116th St. or 126th St. to Lantern Road, south to Municipal Drive. For more information, visit the Web site (Noblesville CyberMall) www.itm.org.

Free Parking (when available)

Parking spaces

Gates open at 6 a.m. Parking is free when available. Traffic enters the Fairgrounds through the 38th Street Main Gate, Gate 6 on Fall Creek Parkway, Gate 10 off 42nd St. and Gate 16 on the Fairgrounds' northwest corner. There is also free parking at the Indiana School for the Deaf on 42nd Street.

There is also a free parking site on 46th Street north of the School for the Deaf that includes shuttle service to the Fair's entrance.

E-Z Park Lots

For $5/vehicle, fairgoers can park in two lots near the Fairgrounds:

  • The 38th Street lot is located on the south side of 38th Street across from the Main Gate where people can walk across the street and into the Fair.
  • The Fall Creek Parkway and Keystone Avenue lot is located on the north side of Fall Creek Parkway and includes shuttle service to the Fair's entrance. This lot is open at peak times, i.e. opening day, concert nights, and heavy traffic days.

Park & Ride

FREE. This year fairgoers can board the shuttle buses at Glendale Mall and ride to the Fair. The shuttles will operate all 12 days of the Fair, every 20 minutes from 10 am to 11 pm. For more information call the Marketing Department at (317) 927-7524.

Pedal & Park

When you walk or ride on the Monon Trail, you can receive a $1 off coupon. When you ride your bike to the Fair, you can park it at the Pedal & Park tent located near 38th Street and they will secure it for you for free. Don’t wait in traffic, just take a hike to the Fair.

Driving Directions

The Indiana State Fairgrounds is located on the corner of East 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway in Indianapolis. Check out the map for our exact location.

I-65 North (from Louisville, KY; Columbus, IN)
Take I-70 East to North Keystone Avenue, Exit #85B. Turn right (North) onto Keystone Avenue. Turn left (West) at 38th St. Continue west to the Fairgrounds entrance.

I-65 South (from Chicago, IL; Lafayette, IN)
Take I-65 South to the 38th Street exit #119. Continue about 5 mi. east to the Fairgrounds entrance.

I-70 East (from St. Louis, MO; Terre Haute, IN)
Take I-70 to North Keystone Avenue exit, #85B. Turn right (North) onto Keystone Avenue. Turn left (West) at 38th St. Continue west to the Fairgrounds entrance.

I-70 West (from Columbus, OH; Richmond, IN)
Take I-70 to North Keystone Avenue exit #85B. Turn right (North) onto Keystone Avenue. Turn left (West) at 38th St. Continue west to the Fairgrounds.

I-69 South (from Detroit, MI; Fort Wayne, IN)
I-69 South becomes Binford Boulevard (SR37) which becomes Fall Creek Parkway. The Fairgrounds is located just north of 38th Street on Fall Creek Parkway.

I-74 West (from Cincinnati, OH) Take I-74 to I-465 North. Take I-465 North to I-70 West to Keystone Avenue, exit #85B. Take Keystone Avenue north to 38th Street. Turn left (west) on 38th Street.

I-74 East (from Danville, IL)
Take I-74 to I-465 North to 38th St. exit. Turn right (East) onto 38th St. Fairgrounds is approximately 7 miles east.

From Indianapolis International Airport
Take the Indianpolis Airport Expressway to I-465 North to 38th Street exit. Continue east to the Fairgrounds entrance.
