Family Fun Park

The Family Fun Park is a smoke-free family entertainment area that is open daily from 9 am - 8 pm and includes something for everyone with a little education mixed in

  • Great American Frontier Show
Buffalo, horses, oxen and wolves are all part of this family-friendly celebration of life in the Old West.  Visitors will see how our ancestors built the West with only animals for transport and crop raising.  There’s also trick riding on horseback and wolves that perform on command.  Cowboys in character, western music and storytelling around the campfire round out this western experience.
    • Frontier Village & Kitchen - Daily from 9 am - 8 pm
    • Wolves of the World - Daily at 10 am & 3 pm with additional shows at 7:30 pm on 8/5, 8/8, 8/11, 8/12 & 8/15
    • The Animals that Built American - Daily at 11 am & 6 pm with additional shows at 7:30 on 8/2, 8/6, 8/9, 8/13 & 8/16
  • Sinbad High Dive Show
Family fun reaches its peak, literally, at the Sinbad High Dive show as Sinbad and his band of gold seekers search for the fabled Golden Apple.  The adventure includes lots of laughs and, ultimately, a plunge into the “ocean” from 80 feet in the air.  This slapstick group has shows daily at 11 am, 1:30 pm & 4:30 with additional shows at 7 pm on 8/3, 8/4, 8/7, 8/10, 8/14 & 8/17
  • Livestock Nursery
Calves are born almost every day during the Fair. Fun facts about different agricultural products through our educational displays make the experience even better. Hand-milking demostrations take place at Noon, 2 pm & 4 pm.
  • Little Hands on the Farm presented by CollegeChoice 529 Direct Savings Plan
Kids love being a farmer for a day at the Fair. Little Hands on the Farm is a fully interactive agriculture partnership for kids age 3 to 12. Children are taught where food comes from by taking the winding path to the different areas. From the starting point to harvesting their supplies to the grocery store to buying their food, children are taught where their food at the kitchen table comes from.
  • Pony Rides
Giddy-up! Young Fair visitors are able to ride every day in Fun Park from 9am - 8pm. Just $5 puts them in the saddle, lead by one of our friendly cowpokes.
  • Go-Karts
Start your engines! Each and every day from Noon - 9pm, Fair visitors of all ages can take a spin around our own Mini-Indy track for only $6. (Riders can tag along for $4.) Kinda like your own personal midway ride, except you're in the Fun Park and YOU are at the wheel!
  • Indiana Young Farmers Pedal Tractor Pull
Young farmers - make their way to the Fun Park picnic shelter either Saturday or Sunday during the Fair (August 3-4, 10-11, 17-18) to try their hand – or feet – at the Pedal Tractor Pull.  Those who pedal the farthest pulling the most weight gets a chance at the finals!  Pulls began at 2pm, with sign-up just prior to the event. Visit www.iyfa.us for contact information.
