The Riley Fun Park is a smoke-free family entertainment area that was open daily from 10 am - 7 pm and included something for everyone.

LITTLE HANDS ON THE FARM

Kids were able to be a farmer for a day at the Fair. Little Hands on the Farm is a fully interactive agriculture partnership for kids age 3 to 12. The layout includes six mini-barns, a grain silo and a garden. Take the winding path to the different areas, from the starting point to pick up their supplies to the grocery store to buy their food.

    THE WONDER TRAIL

    The Indiana State Fair Wonder Trail is an exciting family adventure for elementary and middle school age children and their parents. Check-in at one of three locations on the Fairgrounds: the information booth located on Expo Hall Street, the Riley Fun Park Kids Clubhouse, or the Barn Van located near the midway. To get started, simply fill-out a short registration form, then pick up your own souvenir lanyard, a 3-D illustrated Trail Map, and a magnifying glass. Once you have your tools, you’re ready to start The Wonder Trail and explore all the amazing wonders of the Great Indiana State Fair!

    THE STARS of the PEKING ACROBATS

    Peking Acrobat photoFeaturing approximately 13 acrobats from the People’s Republic of China, Stars of the Peking Acrobats combined athleticism, choreography and pageantry in one beautifully orchestrated production that has enteratined crowds all over the world.

    HEDRICK'S RACING PIGS

    This fun, family-oriented show featured professional pig callers and their racing swine. Audience participation was encouraged and laughs are unavoidable as the pigs raced down the "ham stretch."

    FAMILY DAY & KIDS DAY

    Children are our favorite guests here at the Fair, so we have created extra special days just for them.

    Demi Lovato with special guest Jordan Pruitt presented by VOICE.TV was held on August 10 at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand.

    The International Circus Hall of Fame of Peru, Indiana had FREE shows in the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand on August 17. Traditional Kids Day acitivities took place in the Farm Bureau Building. Listed below are some of those activities

  • Bubble Gum Blowing Contest
