Pioneer Village

You and your children can literally walk through American agriculture with a series of well-marked paths that guide you through growing crops, old-time chores, and displays of antique farms and home artifacts. But a still-life museum this is NOT. Homesteaders are on hand to both explain and demonstrate these fascinating historic farm practices. Watch craftspeople in action in Possum Holler, sit and listen to some old-time music, or join the homesteaders for one of their three shows daily. Your family can witness grain threshing, corn shelling, wood sawing, silo filling and many other long-forgotten farm chores.

Antique Tractor Show

Antique Tractors can be found on display under the big white tent behind Pioneer Village every day of the Fair from 9 am-8 pm. Get your best tractor ready! Your entry must be postmarked no later than July 1. The entry fee is $30.00 for each individual. Tractors must be 1970 or older.

Three very rare tractors will be displayed this year. The Friction Drive (1908), the Mogul (1915) and the Titan (1917) have all been restored to their original condition and colors. You don't want to miss these beautiful antiques.
