- Fence Row life Systems
Take a tour of an old Indiana Fence Row! Participants come face to face with museum mounts of Indiana Bob Cats, Roughed Grouse, Barn Owls, Squirrels, Raccoons, and many other animals en route to a better understanding of the world around them. The Fence Row provides practical examples of Niche, Life Cycles, Predator/Prey, Habitat and how humans effect our environment.

DNA Extraction
What is DNA? Your students have likely heard about it, and in this program, we will discover, first-hand, what it is. We begin by extracting DNA from a wheat germ's nucleus and end with separate strands of DNA to hold and observe.

Become part of an early Indiana farming community by using traditional techniques to raise a barn. How many people did it take to raise a barn? Which tools were necessary? Working together, students will understand the work and cooperation needed to support a farm in the early 19th century.

Where's the Fat?
How fatty is that bag of chips you had at lunch today? See just how much fat you consume in a regular bag of chips and your favorite snacks…if you want to know. Using a special scientific process, students will learn how to literally extract the fat from food and discover the many substances used to make snack foods.
