INvest : Securities DivisionProsecution Assistance UnitAbout the Prosecution Assistance UnitThe Prosecution Assistance Unit was created within the Enforcement Section of the Securities Division to assist law enforcement agencies in prosecuting white collar criminals. Currently the unit includes two attorneys and two investigators devoted exclusively to the enforcement of the criminal provisions of the Indiana Securities Act, the Indiana Loan Broker Act and related statutes. The Unit operates under the direction and supervision of the Securities Commissioner and the Senior Investigator. PAU Home pageStaffThe prosecution assistance unit is comprised of the Securities Commissioner, Senior Investigator, two attorneys and two investigators. The attorneys have over 70 years of collective legal experience and include a former law enforcement officer and a former deputy prosecutor. The investigators include the Division's senior supervising investigator who has over 17 years experience in the brokerage business and two former law enforcement officers who collectively have over forty years of state and local police investigative experience. All of the PAU staff have received training from agencies such as: The US Department of Justice, The National White Collar Crime Center, Magloclen, North America Securities Administrator's Association (NASAA), National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), and Continuing Legal Education Classes. |
