Secretary Rokita's Indiana Investment Watch program promotes
financial literacy in Hoosiers
(Indianapolis) – Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita's Indiana Investment Watch program is partnering with Circle Centre Mall to present a series of free Financial Fitness seminars beginning Tuesday, April 14, at noon in the Artsgarden. The seminars will be open to the public and held once a month from April to October, and will covering a wide range of personal finance topics.
"Financial Literacy Month promotes a better understanding of budgeting, saving, investing, credit card smarts and much more," said Secretary Rokita. "I believe a lack of financial literacy has played a significant role in causing our current economic problems. The Financial Fitness series will extend that focus on financial literacy beyond April, helping Hoosiers become smarter savers, more responsible consumers and better informed investors."
