Secretary of State Rokita visits Warren County

(Williamsport) -- Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita met with Warren County officials during a visit to Williamsport last week.

After discussing the upcoming municipal election with Deputy County Clerk Debbie Hiatt, Rokita discussed the most current and pressing issues facing local county government.  Specifically, discussion involved how to balance the provision of local government services while trying to balance the tax burden for all residents of the county.

According to Steve Eberly, the county officials were very pleased that Secretary Rokita prioritized a visit to Warren County and that he was willing to invest the time to discuss issues facing both local and state government.

"We were very impressed to learn that Secretary Rokita prioritizes a visit to each county within Indiana every year," Eberly said.
