Thank you again for your willingness to serve on the Help American Vote Act Planning Team. I have enclosed the following information in preparation for our meeting Friday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. in State House Room 233.
In our first meeting, we discussed the best way to conduct the breakout sessions. We took into consideration your time and committee preferences, and to the extent we could, tried to accommodate members. Each member was assigned to two committees. Everyone received his or her first committee choice. For the second committee, I have asked you to serve on the committee that best reflects your experience. Your committees are: X & Y
For the next several weeks:
Accessibility will meet Mondays at 4:00 p.m.
Training and Education & Voting Equipment will meet Fridays at 9:00 a.m.
State Wide Voter File & Election Administration will meet Fridays at 1:00 p.m.
In your packets, you will find reading materials for your committees, a list of tasks for which each committee is responsible, and a list of committee members.
We have much work ahead of us, but I am confident that our team is up to the challenges set forth in the Help America Vote Act. I look forward to seeing you on February 28.
