"Interning with the Secretary of State’s office is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in the communications field. The summer communications internship gave me the experience I wanted, to make me more marketable for an entry level position. I enjoyed being able to do a variety of projects, which all held importance in the office. Getting out of the office to attend meetings and participate in outreach events was valuable.
