Indianapolis, IN - Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita is proud to introduce a revamped version of his offices website located on the Internet at www.sos.IN.gov.
Furthering his office's efforts in pioneering various e-Services initiatives, Secretary Rokita's new site is designed to allow a user's navigation to be as intuitive as possible while still housing the massive amounts of information found in the Secretary of State's three divisions - Elections, Business Services, and Securities.
The colorful new website now divides each of the office's divisions into its own module - "INbiz" for Business Services, "INvest" for Securities, and "INvotes" for Elections. Two additional modules have been created to house other information - "Desk" for administrative and personal information, and "Ask Todd" for search, contact, and information options.
Other new additions to the site are an option to send email directly from the Secretary of State's website to the office, a new site for student and teacher resources, an "alert" feature to warn of investment and election scams, an updated online press room, updated news stories featuring the office, and personalized email update options which allow users to subscribe or unsubscribe themselves from receiving specific information from the office's divisions.
Throughout the website are dozens of photographs featuring various duties and activities of Secretary Rokita. Photos at the bottom of each of the page allow a user to select and view a captioned high-resolution version of the picture.
"I'm thrilled with the work Access Indiana has done on this new site and eagerly await to receive feedback from our customers and constituents," Rokita said. "Our goal here was to not only continue to offer all the information users of our website have come to expect, but to present it in a more user-friendly and aesthetic way."
You can access the new website and explore its new options by visiting the existing domain of www.sos.IN.gov.
