Bray: Farmers should report crop,
livestock losses to USDA as soon as possible
(STATEHOUSE)— Farmers who have lost crops or livestock during recent flooding should report those losses to the U.S. Department of Agriculture as soon as possible, according to Sen. Richard Bray, (R-Martinsville).
“Officials at the USDA need loss reports quickly to help support Gov. Mitch Daniels’ request for federal disaster aid,” Bray said. “I know it must be difficult under the circumstances to compile this information, but federal aid cannot be distributed until these reports are submitted.”
