INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana State Fair officials have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and good wishes from people all over Indiana and the nation since Saturday's tragedy in the Grandstand. As a way to thank them, the fair is offering visitors free admission after 4 p.m. today and free admission all day on Friday, Aug. 19.
To gain free admission on Thursday, visitors will need to print the voucher available on the State Fair web site at http://www.indianastatefair.com/. The voucher is not valid on any other day and each person needs a voucher to gain free admission. There is no voucher required for free admission on Friday.
As a reminder, ticket holders to tonight's Train and Maroon 5 concert at Conseco Fieldhouse can use their ticket stub for admission into the fair on any remaining day of the fair, which runs through Sunday.
