(Indianapolis, Indiana) - The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today that it is now accepting Regional Initiative Grant applications from community-based arts organizations and program providers in Region 7.
Region 7 includes Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion and Shelby counties.
Organizations in Region 7 interested in applying for the Arts Commission grants in Arts Operating Support (I or II), or the Arts Program Support grant category must submit their online application by April 1, 2011.
Grant guidelines may be viewed and application made online by visiting the Arts Commission website: www.in.gov/arts/regionalinitiativegrant.htm.
The Arts Commission will also host grant application workshops for those organizations wishing to apply. Region 7 Regional Initiative Grant workshops will be held:
February 2, 2011 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Indiana Government Center South, rooms 4 & 5, 302 W. Washington St., Indianapolis. This workshop is hosted by the Indiana Arts Commission. RSVP to Kristina Davis, 317-232-1279, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
February 3, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Danville Town Hall, 49 N. Wayne St., Danville. This workshop is hosted by the Town of Danville. RSVP to Jodi at 317-745-3001.
