(Indianapolis, Indiana) - The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today that Ball State University will host one of five regional Strategic Plan public forums.
The October 5th forum will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the E.B. & Bertha C. Ball Center, third floor ballroom, 400 N. Minnetrista Blvd., Muncie, Indiana. Parking for the E.B. & Bertha C. Ball Center is located on the west side of the building, or across the street in the Delaware County Fairgrounds parking lot.
In addition to the Muncie public forum, the IAC will hold forums at the following locations through mid-October. All times are local.
1:00 p.m. October 18, 2010 Harre Union, Chapel Dr., Valparaiso University, Valparaiso
1:00 p.m. October 20, 2010 Tirey Hall, 7th St., Indiana State University, Terre Haute
"We encourage anyone with an interest in the administration of public arts funding in Indiana to attend one or more of these forums," said IAC Executive Director Lewis C. Ricci. "The Commission believes that it is critical to include the public in our planning process."
The final Strategic Plan will be presented to the full 15-member Indiana Arts Commission for review and approval at the next quarterly business meeting, December 10, 2010, in Indianapolis.
