(Indianapolis) - The next quarterly business meeting of the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) will be held Friday, September 17th. The 15 commissioners, representing all regions of the state www.IN.gov/arts/2358.htm will meet at 1:00 p.m. (EST) in the City Council Chambers of the Bloomington City Hall, 401 N. Morton St., Bloomington, Indiana.

The City of Bloomington and the Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD) serve as the new IAC Regional Arts Partner for Region 8.

Among items for Commission discussion will be review of the Commission's proposed five-year Strategic Plan, and initial agency budget for fiscal years 2012-2013.

All meetings of the Commission are open to the public. Those wishing to make formal comments or presentations to the Commission must notify the IAC business office no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting. 

On behalf of the people of Indiana, the Indiana Arts Commission advocates engagement with the arts to enrich the quality of individual and community life.
