INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) today announced the relocation of the Virginia Avenue license branch. The new branch, at 1400 Madison Avenue, is located on the south edge of downtown at the corner of Madison and Terrace Avenues. The Madison Avenue branch will open on Tuesday, March 30.

Although the license branch is moving, the Indianapolis reinstatement center will remain at 531 Virginia Avenue.

The Madison Avenue license branch has 12 customer service terminals, a public restroom, and much improved customer parking.

Customers interested in doing business with the BMV without visiting a license branch can visit myBMV.com, one of 12 BMV Self-service terminals, or visit a BMV partner location including three AAA Hoosier Motor Club offices, the Old National Bank Fall Creek branch, or one of the 66 auto dealers in Marion County.
