INDIANAPOLIS - The H1N1 vaccination clinic scheduled for today at the Fort Wayne International Airport on Ferguson Road has been canceled due to inclement weather.
The Fort Wayne International Airport H1N1 vaccination clinic will resume Thursday, Feb. 11 and Friday, Feb. 12 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Even with a decrease in influenza activity, the Indiana State Department of Health recommends Hoosiers to receive the 2009 H1N1 vaccine if they have not already. Everyone, including seniors, is encouraged to receive the vaccine. Children nine years and younger should be given two doses of the vaccine 28 days apart for maximum protection. If your child has not received both doses and more than 28 days have passed, it is highly encouraged to seek out the second dose.
