LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces U.S. 35 between Johnson Road and U.S. 20 in LaPorte County will be restricted to one lane as directed by flag persons around a moving operation during daylight hours Nov. 10 through December 2009. This will allow crews to perform resurface construction.

Crews will mill and pave asphalt throughout the job limits as weather allows. After the winter break, crews will complete the asphalt work and focus on lowering by 5 feet the hillcrest on U.S. 35 at Schultz Road. The overall project is scheduled for completion in summer 2010.
