State Rep. Tim Neese (R-Elkhart) met Thursday with fourth grade students at Mary Daly and Riverview Elementary schools to talk about Indiana state government and his role in the legislature.

 "I was very impressed by the knowledge the students possessed on various issues," Rep. Neese said. "I give parents and teachers credit for keeping their kids informed, especially at such an early age."

Rep. Neese spent classroom time telling the students about the different levels of state government, history of the Statehouse and his job as state representative. He then answered many questions from students.

Prior to the school visits, Rep. Neese hosted a town hall meeting.
