DUGGER, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 159 (S.R. 159) will be closing in Sullivan County.
Working in conjunction with Indiana Railroad officials, INDOT will be closing S.R. 159 from the junction of State Road 54 (S.R. 54) to the end of S.R. 159 at the Sullivan/Greene County Line. Indiana Railroad will be installing a crossing, 1.2 miles south of S.R. 54 at County Road 175 South.
Crews will begin construction of the crossing on Friday, October 23, at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time. Construction of the crossing is anticipated to last through Tuesday, October 27.
No through vehicle traffic will be allowed, however local residents will have access to the point of closure. All lanes of traffic will be closed at the crossing.
