Sharpsville Man Arrested on 11 Felony Charges

Tipton - This morning, a three-month long criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Tony Frawley has resulted in the arrest of Monte Joe Foutch, 55, Sharpsville, IN, on a class B felony charge of criminal deviate conduct and 10 class C felony charges for child molest. Foutch surrendered at the Tipton County Jail where Detective Frawley served him with a Tipton Circuit Court arrest warrant charging the 11 felony counts. Foutch's bond is set at $125,000.

Detective Frawley started his investigation after he was notified by the Tipton County Division of Child Services that a 15-year-old Tipton County girl had purportedly been molested. Frawley's investigation revealed that Foutch had allegedly molested the girl numerous times starting in 2005 until earlier this year.

A person convicted of a class B felony can be sentenced up to a 20-year term of imprisonment. A class C felony carries a maximum term of eight years of imprisonment. Both felonies have a maximum fine of $10,000.
