September 11, 2009- Governor Daniels and members of an Indiana delegation with him on a jobs-hunting trip to Asia traveled from China to Tokyo on Friday. Before leaving Hangzhou, the governor recapped the activities of the first several days of the trip, his first as governor to China. In the video at the link below, the governor talks about the importance of the relationship between Indiana and the Zhejiang Province and the serious interest of Chinese businesses in investing in the U.S. His comments were taped in the same room as the Joint Communiqué of the United States of America and the People's Republic of China (Shanghai Communiqué) was signed in 1972 by Dr. Henry Kissinger and Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai.
