New signal turned into full operation at U.S. 30 and Clay Street

Signal began flashing Friday, will be fully activated Wednesday

HOBART, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces a new traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Clay Street in Hobart is scheduled to be fully activated the morning of July 29. The new signal started flashing the afternoon of July 24.

This intersection was previously marked by a flashing beacon.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
