BLACKFORD COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will close State Road 26, 3.5 miles west of S.R. 167, over Debatty Prong for construction of a new culvert. Work is scheduled to start on or after June 2 with a 30 day closure.

The closure will allow Jutte Excavating Inc. to install a 3-sided box culvert. The official detour will follow S.R. 1, S.R. 3, and S.R. 18.

Jutte Excavating submitted the low bid of $444,000 for the project.
