BOONVILLE, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing that a public information meeting will be held regarding the project for State Road 62 (S.R. 62) from 0.3 miles west of State Road 261 (S.R. 261) to State Road 61 (S.R. 61) south junction in Boonville.

This meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. local time at Boonville High School.  The facility is located at 300 North First Street, Boonville, Indiana.

The purpose of the public meeting is to provide the community with updated information regarding the development of this project, addressing any questions or concerns the community may have as well as receiving input and feedback. 

The project includes widening existing S.R. 62 from two to five lanes, including a dual left turn lane, new pavement and realignment of the State Road 261 (S.R. 261) and S.R. 62 intersection.  These improvements will complete the expansion of S.R. 62 from Vanderburgh County to Boonville.
