The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold a Public Information Meeting regarding a road reconstruction project on US 150 from Prospect to approximately CR 325 W west of of Paoli, Orange County. The project length is approximately 5.3 miles. The public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 and begin promptly at 6:00pm in the Orange County Community Center Conference Center, 1075 North Sandy Hook Road in Paoli. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community with updated information in regards to the development of this project, in addition to recieving input and feedback, as well as addressing any questions and concerns the community may have. During this information meeting, INDOT project representatives will present information in regard to the road reconstruction project on US 150 from Prospect to approximately CR 325W west of Paoli. However, INDOT will schedule a public meeting in the near future to discuss the development of the SR 37 road reconstruction project beginning just north of Paoli and extending to Mitchell. INDOT last presented information on both projects during a public hearing in 2005. The public information meeting will feature an informal open house session where interested persons will have an opportunity to view project displays, receive informational handouts, and talk to project representatives one on one while having questions and concerns addressed. INDOT will give a formal presentation starting at 6:00pm regarding this project in addition to allowing time for recorded public comment period prior to reverting back to the "Open House" session.
