MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces crews with Rieth-Riley will close the southbound lanes of US 231 north of the interstate where the roads goes from two lanes to four lanes on Monday, October 13 to patch the concrete in this area. The closure will begin around 7:30 a.m. and last for approximately three hours. Police officers will allow one-way traffic in the northbound lanes. Local traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes.
Rieth-Riley was awarded the $1.1 million concrete patching project. The construction is scheduled to be completed November 15, 2008. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a highway construction zone.
