Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 30, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to 410 IAC 15-1.5 (LSA Doc. 08-423) to clarify that physician verbal orders must be authenticated within 48 hours of issuance or a repeat and verify process must be used and authenticated by the physician within thirty (30) days after patient discharge.

The ISDH has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-21-1-7. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

A copy of this rule is now on file at the Office of Legal Affairs, Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana, and is open for public inspection.
