Ramp from S.R. 912 north to U.S. 20 east closed during resurface construction

Closure scheduled for daylight hours tomorrow

GARY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the ramp from northbound State Road 912 (Cline Avenue) to eastbound U.S. 20 in Gary will be closed during the daylight hours Sept. 3 during resurface construction. Posted signs will direct traffic around the closure via the other Cline/U.S. 20 interchange ramps.

This work is in relation to the $1.8 million resurface construction project on U.S. 20 between Cline and Bridge Street in Lake County. Construction began in July and is scheduled for completion in October 2008.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a highway construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
