U.S. 31 Bypass ramps at S.R. 2 and U.S. 31 closed during resurface construction

One-hour closures of various ramps scheduled for daylight hours Tuesday

ST.JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces various ramps at the U.S. 31 Bypass interchanges of State Road 2 (S.R. 2) and U.S. 31 will be closed during the daylight hours of Sept. 2. This will allow resurface construction to take place on the ramps.

The ramps will not all be shut down at the same time. Each ramp will be closed for approximately one hour apiece. During the closures, traffic will be detoured via the other interchange ramps.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a highway construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
