The Indiana Center for the Book invites entries for the fourth annual Best Books of Indiana competition. This state book contest is open to books with original publication in 2007 and written either by an Indiana author or with an Indiana theme. Deadline for entries is March 31, 2008.
Categories for this year's competition include fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and children's/young adult. To enter, send the completed entry form and five (5) non-returnable copies of the book to the Indiana Center for the Book, Indiana State Library, 140 N. Senate Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Indiana has a long and illustrious literary heritage. The Indiana Center for the Book created the Best Books of Indiana competition to honor this heritage and recognize Hoosier authors. A complete listing of past Best Books' winners and finalists is available online.
