"By educating, providing legal and technical assistance and offering financial incentives to local governments, the Indiana Brownfields Program has helped Indiana communities make great strides in redeveloping sites that otherwise would have continued to deteriorate," said Jennifer Alvey, Public Finance Director. "Governor Daniels is intent on making such sites productive, income-producing assets for local economies, and in many cases, these grants are allowing this to happen."

The Indiana Brownfields Program is managed by the IFA, which was created by Governor Daniels in 2005 to more effectively manage State-related finances under one entity.
