INSPECT Training Opportunities

INSPECT, Indiana’s prescription monitoring program, holds free training seminars across the state. These training sessions cover general INSPECT information, how to use the program to request patient prescription records, how to interpret the results of an INSPECT report, usage guidelines and how to get registered to use INSPECT. Eligible practitioners may also register to become a user at the training session, a notary will be available so that we will be able to approve an account immediately upon registration.

Currently INSPECT is waiting on grant funding before more regional training sessions are scheduled, however INSPECT offers practice, hospital and physician group trainings, free of charge. Please contact tfernandes@pla.in.gov if you would like more information or if you are interested in a private on-site training session for your group or practice. Private on-site training sessions cover the same material mentioned above and include the benefit of having a notary to register interested eligible applicants immediately.
