Winnie Landis is a graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy and the Thunderbird Executive Leadership in Healthcare Administration Program. She has served four terms on the Indiana Board of Pharmacy. Winnie works as a community pharmacist and Diabetes Educator for CVS Pharmacy where she also serves as a Preceptor. Winnie’s experiences include President of the Indiana Pharmacists Association, President of the Indiana Board of Pharmacy and President of the American Pharmacist Association. She was a member of the APhA Board of Trustees for nine years and currently serves on the APhA Foundation Women in Pharmacy Project. Winnie is a current member of the FDA NonPrescription Drugs Advisory Committee and the Purdue School of Pharmacy Dean’s Advisory Council. Her honors have included the Bowl of Hygeia Award, Purdue Distinguished Alumni Award, the Joseph McSoley Pharmacist of the Year Award, Kappa Epsilon Vanguard Leadership Award and Fellow of APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management. Winnie has a daughter at Purdue and enjoys travel, arts and community volunteer work.
