Sara St. Angelo holds a BS in pharmacy from the Ohio State University and a PharmD from Purdue University. First appointed to the Board of Pharmacy in 1998 by Governor O’Bannon, she has been reappointed in 2002, 2006, and 2010. She has experience in different aspects of pharmacy, including community pharmacy, consultant pharmacy, home infusion pharmacy, acute care, and long-term acute care. She is currently specializing in critical care and cardiology as the clinical facilitator at the St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana. She is married with three children, and enjoys gardening, boating, bicycling, and hiking. She also enjoys cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
