Online License Renewal FAQ's
What is my user name?
Your user name for signing in is the letters and numbers making up your license number.
What is my password?
Your password for signing in is the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Note: If you are signing in to renew a broker company license, both user name and password are the company license number.
It won't let me log in. What can I do?
If you have another license in the state of Indiana, your user name may be that license number, instead of the license number you are using. Attempt to login using this other number as the user name. If you continue to have difficulty logging in, please confirm your information on file with IPLA.
I keep getting an error. What can I do?
Please check that you are using the Internet Explorer browser if you are encountering errors. If errors persist, please try restarting your computer and/or internet browser. The system can be slowed by large numbers of users at one time, so you may need to wait and try again at a later time.
I can't get the screens to advance. What can I do?
Please check that you are using the Internet Explorer browser. If you are using a Macintosh, you may try advancing the screen by using the bold words on the left of the screen, instead of the "Next Step" button. If errors persist, please try restarting your computer and/or internet browser. The system can be slowed by large numbers of users at one time, so you may need to wait and try again at a later time.
I answered "Yes" to a question (other than the continuing education question) on the renewal form. What should I do?
Our office requires a written, signed statement explaining your response, including any related court documents.
I answered "Yes" to a question on the renewal form, by mistake. What should I do?
Please e-mail a statement explaining your response to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will update your license.
I was issued a license in 2011/2012. Do I need to complete continuing education for this cycle?
If your license was issued on or after July 1, 2011, you are not required to complete the continuing education for this cycle.
