New Albany resident brings extensive pension, financial knowledge to board
INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 10, 2007) – Kevin M. Boehnlein of New Albany has been appointed to a two-year term on the board of trustees of the Indiana Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (PERF).
Boehnlein was appointed by Governor Mitch Daniels and was elected vice chairman of the board at its Aug. 17 meeting.
A financial advisor with Edward Jones, Boehnlein most recently served as vice chairman of the Indiana Teachers’ Retirement Fund from 2005-2007. He has served on the boards of Leadership Southern Indiana and Southern Indiana Economic Development Council.
Boehnlein is a recipient of Louisville Business First’s “Top 40 Under 40” award and the IU Alumni Association President’s Award, is the outgoing president of the IU Southeast Alumni Association and a Clarksville Rotarian.
