Mission Statement:
The DOI licenses all insurance companies and related agencies domiciled in Indiana and approves new insurance products. DOI serves and protects consumers by performing financial solvency examinations, assisting orphan policy owners, and taking enforcement action on behalf of consumers when necessary.
