or wants to produce energy from your operations?

YOU'RE INVITED!

USDA Renewable Energy Program - Grant Assistance Workshops

Also known as Section 9006, or the Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Program, provides grants and loan guarantees to farmers, ranchers and rural small businesses.

Indiana Office of Energy and Defense Development will present seven (7) workshops around the state to help you understand and navigate the federal grant process.

In 2007, up to $23 million was available for grants and guaranteed loans for renewable energy projects.

To be eligible, small businesses and agricultural producers must show financial need and

  • projects must be located in a rural area
  • must be technically feasible
  • meet environmental requirements, and
  • must be owned by the applicant
